A few of my readers have mentioned this site to me recently, and it just so happens that I`ve been looking to pick up a Mulberry Alexa for a while now – it`s a missing link in my replica Mulberry collection. So, I decided to kill two birds with one stone by picking up an Alexa from Vogue King and writing a review at the same time.

Quality

I just ordered one bag from Vogue King. I`ve got quite a large collection now, and it just doesn`t make sense for me to order more than one bag from a site until I`m absolutely certain that they can deliver the goods. My bag of choice this time is the ever popular Mulberry Alexa in light coffee. I`ve added some photos (I apologize for the lighting – they aren`t super clear, but you get the picture) of my Alexa. The first thing I checked for was the stitching (because I`ve noticed this is a problem in some replica Alexa`s) and the weight of the leather. The stitching is all correct (including the cross pattern on the bottom) but the leather work is really weak. The leather is flimsy and floppy, and the cuts are not quite right. Have a look at these pictures I`ve included – you`ll see that the bag just doesn`t sit right. It`s a decent replica, but frankly, it`s not good enough for me.

Selection

Vogue King focus on handbags – they aren`t one of these companies that deal with all sort of luxury goods – and they cover a wide array of styles and designers in their specialty. I was happy to see a nice Givenchy collection as I`ve been thinking about picking up the Givenchy Calf skin bag pictured below. I didn`t get one this time – I thought I`d take my chances on the Mulberry Alexa first – and judging from their quality rating, I don`t know if I want to chance getting a lacklustre Givenchy.

Shipping

I received my order in 7 days, which is pretty standard (they claim that Asian and North American orders should take 4-7 days to deliver, other places 7-14). The best thing about Vogue King shipping is that it`s free for much of the world. Free shipping, and relatively quick: these guys seem to run a pretty tight ship.

Return Policy

Vogue King has a clear and comprehensive Return Policy. This is a big plus, because a lot of sites that I`ve seen lately do not. They offer a refund within 14 days of receipt and exchange within 30 days. So, as long as you have not used your item – you get it back. The only problem with their policy is that they do not seem to cover problems that occur to the bag while you’re wearing it. Like, what happens if the strap breaks after a month of wear? At Vogue King you`ve got to deal with that yourself. Though, I can`t fault them too much for this because most other replica sites are the same.

Site Usability

While I`m not very impressed with the site layout aesthetically – this site is ugly! – it is very functional. The site allows you to search easily by brand, size, color, popularity, and to search the new arrivals section. It also allows you to easily search for discounts and sale items. The checkout is secure and easy to use. Vogue King scores highly for Site Usability, I just wish they`d improve the look!

Original Images

I have to say, this is one area that Vogue King takes the prize. The pictures all look original, they`re clear, and they feature a really neat zoom feature that allows you to zoom on the part of the bag you want to see more closely. This is the coolest part of this site, for sure.

Service

Their service and contact availability is quite comprehensive. You can contact Vogue King via email, live chat, MSN, or post. They are not available for contact via telephone, which is a bit disappointing. There staff was quick to respond to my inquiries and seemed to know exactly what they were talking about.

My Humble Conclusion

This is a decent site, but the quality of my bag means that I wouldn`t consider ordering from them again (even if I am attracted to the Givenchy collection). The site receives top scores for selection, shipping, return policy and original images but I am forced to deduct partial marks for service (no phone number…that`s a biggy) and site usability (just because it looks bad). And, I cannot give a mark for quality because the bag I got is just not good enough for me to wear. Too bad.
